Software Specification Project ~ Fall 2012

Boise State College of Engineering
This was a group project completed for my Software Engineering Class. It was completed in a group of four, and involved the creating of a formal software specification for a product of our choosing.

The product that my group selected was a Library Management System. In order to create the Library Management System there were a number of steps that needed to be completed. The product had to first be fully defined, after which each part of the system needed to be expounded on, followed by the creation of both the final specification and the Systems User Manual.

I spent a great deal of time personally working on the LaTeX files for this product, and was very happy with the result. The document is easily navigable and all uses of glossary terms are hyper-linked for easy navigation. The main sections of the document that I created were Nonfunctional Requirements, System Tests, Glossary, and a smattering of paragraphs throughout the Specification and Users manual.

Both the final Specification and Users Manual are provided for download.
